A year ago was released under the name polarbud Brings Up Old Ghosts, a collection of demos and alternate versions of polarbird’s tunes, recorded by Olivier alone at home.
Today he puts forward a new batch of six tunes, entitled Strange Encounters, a few weeks before polarbird’s new album. This time, he has conveyed a few guests: Odile Lespérance on violin on “Gone” and “W.O.N.”, and Guillaume from polarbird on bass on “Good Morning do you love me?”, a cover from the late Dogs. And for the finishing, he relied on Ben Auriel from studio Bellagio for the sound side and on Half Bob for the visual side.
